Are we ever going to be able to log into again so that we can rate and see what are ratings were for all the Stooge Productions.  At one time you could do this and it was fun to see how my ratings ranked with the others.

I echo the sentiments of this page.

I called Adrian out of the blue some time back.  She did not know me from Adam.  Yet, she invited me up to her house and we met.  I was able to visit her again sometime later.  She was a very nice lady with loads of knowledge that she was willing to share and she was very hospitable.

Wish I knew.  One that would have been able to shed some light on this would be Frank Reighter ... great supporting cast researcher on the Stooges.  However, as menitoned in the current Stooge Journal, Frank passed away.  That is a HUGE loss for Stooge research.

Sadly, Basile bought into many of the negative, untrue legends and myths about Healy.  He notably utilized tales concocted by G. P. Skratz in "Larry, the Stooge in the Middle."

Be a Stooge:  What are your thoughts on the Biography on Healy finished last year?

I give this a 3. This brings back Curly memories and Greta is worth that much.

Metaldams: Thank you very much for taking us on this journey. I really appreciate it!     [pie]

I will give this a 2.  There were other shorts worse, but barely....

Totally agree with Metal ... more like a Stooge film ... threesomes working together to wreak havoc ...  Joe is definitely looking more comfortable interacting.  He has more energy.

I like the slaps at the bunk bed... look at Joe's head as he watches Moe and Larry then he gets twanged ....

Some nice one-liners.

Rating on the canon's of Stooges I give this a 5 ... Best Besser short?  I think I like A Merry Mixup a little better

Well we have hit rock bottom ... what a morose film... the only redeeming qualities are the space girls .....

This gets a 1 ....

Different for sure.   I give it a 2  thanks to Larry playing the violin and ' prettier than a spotted heifer'

' what  did you want to be wHen you were six?'
'What did you want to be when you were four?'
'Wow you're in a rut'

 Not your standard short

Nice to see a remake of the classic short .  Totally agree the character actors were terrible especially the men. I do not mind Greta.

I give it a 4 mainly because of doing a remake.

Fifi looks good in pajamas....

A better Besser short...stock footage helps... not the best though. I give it a 4

So Greta is still alive?

The cigar eating goes on too long. That is my problem with it.

There is more interplay as was mentioned...  terrible acting by the crooks at the end.

I give it a 3.

Definitely some better Stooge interplay.  I like the first half better than the second. It gets a four

For me not much happening here. I give it a 2

Worst one I have seen so far. It gets a one.  If there is one worse I will pump it to a 2.  Stupid plot. I will say that Larry gave it his all. He seem to be the only one  energized.

Joe did take some pops in this one. The most hits I've seen so far.

I agree with Desmond -  Joe does look funny with his hats.

I give this a three. And that might be generous.  Good splicing however.

I give it a three however the short  has some merits  and I am not only talking about the eye candy.

For the time it was sort of on the cutting edge. It parodies futuristic space travel and the giant monster B movie films. Elvis and IBM reference.

Tickling scene does go on too long.  I like the smog reference- "the air on Sunev  is like the air on earth "

Woodbury died before this was released.

I like the short.   It was very entertaining to me. I give it a six

I give this a five.  I don't know if it's because it's fresh material or not. I got so tired of the remakes.

This is a man's job. Where will we find one?

Pick it up I can't even bend

Rubin definitely carries this short.  Moe plays it well as a straight man.  I give it a 3.

Taken on it's own, if I knew nothing of the circumstances of the Stooges and their shorts I give this a 6.  I like this one.  White face Shemp while sick ... water thru the 'peep' hole .. then mud ... film in the watermelon ... good short in my mind ..

However, knowing it is a remake and 97% of it is a remake I would give it a one.

What DVD are you referring to?
