Three Stooges Socks - strange observation
« on: May 16, 2017, 06:47:22 PM »
Ok, weird question, I know, but why is it that every time one of the boys takes off their shoes, their socks don't cover their toes?  Does that mean they were poor and low class or was that a type of sock worn at the time or what?

And while we are talking about feet, let me throw this out there.  I saw in an interview that Phyllis Fine said that Curly couldn't bend his left ankle.  Is this true?  It seems to me he could bend it, but just not much.

Yes, it's to show that they have holey socks because they're so destitute and/or backwards.
